A Double Edged Sword Please

You know the general saying that love is a double edged sword? Well, a promotion at work is the same thing too! When you are performing well at work you are given a promotion and a bigger paycheck and as a consequence, you will be overworked with new responsibilities and less time to relax and enjoy your life. Being worked like a mule isn't so bad if you had no life and a family to go home to but if you do have a life and a family then you will be so stressed out from trying to balance both. So the question would be, is it worth it? Would you rather make more money and lose your family or would you rather make decent money and keep your family? Generally, your mind is in the right place because we all do want to give our family a better life by making more money but if you're stressed out then it's just going to be a domino effect and affecting everyone around you. Be happy, be free, be a bum! Bums have it lucky, no one to tell them what to do and they can do whatever they want. Not worrying about what to wear and no one to impress so funk mouth city here I come! There's no one to tell you when to work and what to do. Bums make more money than you might think because look at how much traffic they receive a hour which is probably 400 cars and let's say 1 out of every 25 cars hands them $2. It would mean that a bum would make $32 every hour! It's no surprise that a certain millionaire disguises as a bum and begs for money when he's not in the office working.
