Sh*t Happens

It's just one of those days that you really don't happen in real life that you only see happen on sitcoms, but today was just one of those days where nothing just goes your way. Considering it is tax season so I really don't have the time to blog about what I've been up to but today was just one of those days where you just have to rant about it.

9:00 AM - Woke up to hear that a crook broke into my parent's shop through the office window, which is pretty dumb because it's a sweat shop so obviously there's nothing of value in there besides womens' clothing. There's no cash, there's no computer equipment, there's nothing. The dumb crook actually thought the golden Buddha statue was made of real gold so he decided to snatch that but once he brought it outside, he realized it was not made out of gold so he left it infront of the shop.

9:15 AM - Blanked out and forgot to stop at the bank to deposit some checks so I had to backtrack and head back to the bank.

9:30 AM - Stuck in traffic on the way to work because of a two cars decided to get into a car accident on the freeway and once I passed the accident, one of the debris decided to lodge itself into my front tire and thus I had a flat tire. Luckily the car was able to still drive fine on the freeway and was really unnoticeable but I knew something was wrong because the tire light popped up and I was not moving as fast as I should be. Unlike my previous busted tires while driving on my other cars, this flat was really pleasant because the drive didn't become rocky like my previous experiences.

10:00 AM - Made my exit and turned right into the tire shop. The tire dude went to check if he could repair the tire but the debris made a huge gash in the tire so it was busted beyond repair so I had to get a new tire.

11:00 AM - Coworker stole my client.

12:00 PM to 7:00 PM - Clients kept on wanting to make changes to their taxes because they did not want to owe any taxes or wanted a bigger refund.

7:30 PM - Still stuck with a fat tax bill.

9:00 PM - Went to wash the towels and found out that somehow the laundry detergent spilled all over the top of the washer machine so now there's a big soapy mess.

12:00 AM - Parents came home so now I can't watch any anime.

12:30 AM - Booked the room for Vegas and got 3 nights comp. :)

Always So Anal

Why do people have to be so anal about things?  I mean you can provide all the proof and what not in the world and they still want more.  What more can they possibly ask?  They ask for this and that which you provide them but they're like um no give me moar!  It's business, I get it because we are talking about thousands of dollars in limbo that no one wants to pay in sales tax but still the evidence is provided and so the money should be returned because prolonging the inevitable is useless and time consuming.  'Nuff said.

Tax Deadline

Although today is the tax deadline, I am pretty lucky because all of my clients try to get theirs done early otherwise I would be totally swamped right now.  So anyways I was looking at Snow Valley's season pass and it is $150 which is hella cheap for a season pass anywhere!  But then again Snow Valley has always been cheap to begin with since the Tuesday special is $11 a lift ticket.  I haven't gone to Snow Valley but my brother apparently likes it because it's cheap and decent.  Also I heard Mammoth's season ends in July which is pretty crazy to even think that.  I want to try turf snowboarding or even make one to try just to practice buttering during the off season.

Screw the Government

The national deficit is bigger than expected and yet the government attempts to fix the crisis by giving away more money but never thought about things clearly which is why there is a number of people taking advantage of the government.  Sure, the government's heart was in the right place by rewarding those who junk their clunkers for more energy efficient ones and buying out the surplus amount of vacant houses,  but in the end it was poor planning with too many loopholes and missing clarity.  The first time home buyer credit which allowed a $8,000 tax credit was given to pretty much anyone who applied without making sure that they qualify so people were fraudulently receiving the money like babies and even the deceased, whom legally cannot even own a house.  Then the cash for clunkers program allowed people to receive the rebate for buying gas guzzlers like Hummers.  Jeebus, I always knew the government were idiots but they are just digging a bigger hole.  Not only are government heads are using government funds to spend lavishly on secret retreats and vacations while on the job but allowing the national to take advantage of the government as well is just asking for trouble.  The country has become a big pot of deficit and may be our own demise.

Screw the government man!

Speed Lights Are For?

Seriously, I don't see the point of those little monitors on the side of the street that displays how fast you are going.  Like who cares?  I know how fast I am going by looking at my speedometer in my car but no, they want you to look at the box with flashing lights instead so that you can increase your chances of getting into a car accident.  I just hope those boxes are solar powered otherwise we are using our tax dollars to fund something that's totally useless unless of course, the speed meters could fire out lasers at speeding drivers so they would blow up otherwise the boxes are totally useless.

Poor Domo

My little sister has taken my Domo and used it against its will to make some still picture animation which I can't even show you because well they're just pictures and have not been pieced together into a video yet.  So why not just pieced them together then?  Well that's because I am too lazy to learn how to do that right now nor do I have the time.  Maybe in a month when tax season is over so for now you get to see nada~

Dude, check out that ass right hurrrrr~

Planning Ahead

I know I have been slacking on blogging but with tax season here, I have been pretty busy so I have decided that I should get ahead of myself and blog ahead of time.  I just have to pick a day and time to sit down and get things done so maybe I will get on it tomorrow or Sunday.  Yosh!  I am back to annoy you with my antics and wah wah poor me crap.

Get With the Times Old Man!

So this tax season, I am venturing out with a new tax firm that is venturing out for the first time using the computer. I handle all of the high tech stuff which isn't even high tech for our times which I really don't mind because I'm down with technology yo. But when I teach my boss how to use the program, he's like oh wow that's amazing! It's like dude, have you been living under a rock? Although I already knew the answer to that question. I'm So Exhausted!

So I am finally caught up on my blogging so hopefully I can stay on top of things for awhile until I go off on another vacation on the slopes again. I can't help it because it's a seasonal sport which really sucks for me since my tax work really only picks up during this time so I'm pretty much screwed but not really because heck taxes can wait! Too bad that's not something that my boss wants to hear but too bad for him he can't do anything about it so ha!
