Sports Brands Are So Played Out

Remember back in the days, when everyone was sporting sports brands like Nike, Fila, Puma, Reebok, etc? Nowadays, no one even wears any of them besides when they actually do sports but then again even when they do participate in sports, some would rather wear chucks than to be spot wearing sports shoes. I remember back then, the "in" thing was to sport a Nike jacket but not just any Nike jacket. It had to have the Nike logo on the back and preferably a windbreaker. Oh how the times has changed! The only people who even know what a windbreaker are would have to be in sports or likes to dress in tacky gym clothes.

Kids Should Stop Growing

One of the downfall about kids is that they will grow! Growing is fine and all but it sucks to be the one having to pay for all of their crap only to find out they will outgrow everything that you bought them in a year or two. Sure, you can go ghetto and buy oversized things and tell them that they can grow into it but too bad you can't really do that nowadays considering the in style is skin tight. I think the thing that pisses me off the most about kids growing in height is with sports equipment especially full body sports. It is snowboarding season and apparently my non midget of a little sister has outgrown all of her snowboarding gears.

Here's a sample of our discussion:

Me: Don't tell me we have to buy her a new pair of boots too.
Bro: I don't know, she has to try it on and see.
Me: You know, it's all your fault for letting her grow!
Bro: Don't blame me! It's your fault for feeding her!
Me: *Gasps* I did no such thing! I would never feed her! She gets no food from me!

Listen to your mama and stop growing! Nyuuu!

I <3 Sports

I totally love sports and not just for the freak accidents or the thrill and joy of watching someone get the crap beaten out of them, actually, that IS why I love sports! Schwing! Sports just wouldn't be the same without someone getting hurt whether it's cheerleading or MMA. I just love to watch people get hurt and I'm sure you do too. Although there are moments that I enjoy when no one is hurt as well, it's true, I know. Shocking isn't it? For instance, the football game between whatever teams where the guy rushes yards and jumps in the air with both legs wide open and goes up and over the guy that was charging towards him and trying to tackle him but dude said "DENIED" and with one hand on the ball and one hand pushing down on the other guy's head he went up and over for the touchdown. Awesome play no doubt, it's what you see in movies.
