Bleep Christmas

Starting xmas off with a smile made of wax!

Since we couldn't go boarding for xmas, we went to our cousin's house for lunch along with the other cousins.  It was the usual, eat, talk loudly, played games, drank alcohol, gambled, and passed out.  I really didn't expect to stay there for so long but we ended up staying there until 11 at night because one family wasn't invited since everyone thought that their whole family went to Vietnam but it was only their parents that went so they got a late invitation.  Although, they were also late because they were also drunk from last night as well but at least they didn't passed out at someone else house like my other cousin.  Little R was a handful though and wouldn't go to sleep because everyone was there and he wanted to stay up and play even at 11 at night but it was funny because he took a dump and fell asleep on the toilet.  He's 3 and is taking dance class, singing class, and karate.  You have to start off 'em Asian kids early I guess.  I think we started my little sister off at age 4.  So yeah, Christmas was long and wet because it ended up raining that evening but we didn't even noticed since the insulation was so solid that we didn't even hear a thing.

Pretty sure that's not how you play pool E.

Heat It Up!

The weather has been pretty cold lately and even wet!  I can't stand the rain because it really ruins the day of going outside.  I wouldn't ever want to live somewhere that rains or snow because it would be such a big hassle to live there.  The rain because it makes everything wet and the chances of getting splashed by a car passing by and having to jump over huge rivers of gushing water.  The snow because you would have to shovel the snow away and the chances of slipping and falling on your ass.  I can stand visiting these kinds of places but to live there indefinitely is a no no.

Let It Snow

I hope that it will continue to rain only because there will be be a good chance of snow on the nearby snow resorts.  I want to go snowboarding at least one more time before the season ends.  So hopefully there will be snow so let there be snow!  The weather said that it would rain the end of last week but no~  there was no rain at all!  Well, only a little shower but that was it!  Pssh, stupid weatherman.

Hichew Ruined My Life

So this is the story of how Hichu or Hichew ruined my life. The day started out a bit chillier than usual Cali weather but I was like whatevers. I drove to this one escrow company to drop off the deposit check and while waiting to receive my receipt, the receptionist asked me how was the weather outside because she has no idea being locked up in the office with no windows anywhere around her. I told her it was okay so she was jumping for joy because she was going to have a nice lunch then. As I left the building, the clouds started to gather and soon after the sky started to pour. I didn't know it was suppose to rain and who knew that it was going to rain for almost a week straight! So my friend came over to my house because we were going to go out to eat with her BFF. I thought I was retarded but she was even more so because she came running through the rain in flip flops!

There is something called a stupid question afterall

Anyways, so her BFF stood us up because he wanted to watch the Lakers play Celtics so we drove out to Nogales to eat at Nodaji. I can't believe she actually bought over priced coffee for 50 cents because the cup was no bigger than a shot glass. When we were done eating, she had the craving for junk food and Hichew so we went a few shops down to the liquor store which had some dusty Hichew. Would you trust dusty candy? No, I don't think so. We left and went to a Chinese supermarket because they have to have it, it's like a law. We ran through the store soaking wet because it started to rain hard when we started looking for it and what the hell! They didn't have any! Actually they did have a kiwi flavor one and imitation Maichu so we were like screw that and left. We went to another Chinese supermarket down the street and they had nothing at all. So she bought some junk food to snack on. Wet and cold, we decided to try at one more supermarket so we went to a Korean supermarket down the street and by that time the rain started to die down so maybe our luck was changing. Sadly, all they had was mango and kiwi Hichew and stupid Maichus! So we were like forget it already and decided to go back to the liquor store which was around the corner and bought practically the whole box of Hichews. A hour spent on going back to where we came from, great!

Hobo and the Rain

I never understood how cold sitting in a car can actually be. I always thought they were built to be pretty insulated but dude was I wrong! I never noticed a car could be a cubicle of ice cold death until I had to wait over 2 hours waiting for my little sister to come back to school from her field trip. The bus was suppose to arrive back at school by 3 but didn't end up arriving until about a little over 5 PM which was bad because her performance was at 5 PM as well. Once she finally came back, we had to rush over to the restaurant where they were filming the performance in Santa Ana so with traffic here and there it took us about almost a hour. The group were all waiting for us to arrive so they ended up filming their performance at 6 PM instead. It's going to be broadcasted on one of the Vietnamese channels for New Years. Anyways, back to my freezing icicle experience. If I was freezing my little buns off while sitting in a car then I do not know how the homeless does it. I am sure a car is much warmer than a cardboard box and newspaper. They probably wear a tons of layers of clothes but with the rain, how do they keep warm and dry when their bed is soaked? I guess they could always break into a foreclosed home and bunk there until they're discovered by an unsuspecting agent.

Theft On A Rainy Day

Suddenly out of the blue, the forecast shows that it will be raining in sunny California for the next 3 days. I thought it was just going to be a light drizzle but it's a full blown shower! Anyways, in the light of the down economy, there have been an increase in theft obviously. There was an incident yesterday where 2 elderly in their 60s robbed a young mother while they held her 1 year old son hostage. It's insane! So while driving in the rain, it made me wonder. The best time to boost a car or rob a vehicle or a person on the street is when it's raining because there's going to be no one around. Once you get out of your car, you won't take your time walking to where ever you're going. You're going to rush. Everyone is going to be indoors away from the rain so no one is going be around and even if someone saw you breaking into someone's car or even robbing someone, no one is going to stop or chase you down because they're not likely willing to risk getting wet. The only downside of performing thievery in the rain is that obviously you're going to get wet.
