Mayoi Neko Overrun & Working!!

Mayoi Neko Overrun is about 2 childhood orphans that work at a bakery run by the orphan boy's non blood related sister.  Apparently she has a thing for picking up stray things, one of which being the boy.  The guy is your regular honest guy while the girl is your hot headed chick that lies about how she really feels so whatever she says she really means the opposite.  The male protagonist's sister is never really around because she's always traveling so the bakery is mostly left in the hands of those two with the assistance of their friends from school.  I expected more from the story especially when they found the cat like girl but after finding her, the story hasn't really progressed but seems more like nothing but fillers.  The anime is okay but it is not something that you can't wait to see what the next episode is about because it's rather boring.

Working!! is about a diner and its misfit employees.  You have your gangster of a manager lady who is adored by the floor manager but the head chef is in love with floor manager but of course she's oblivious of that.  Then you have your mischievous assistant chef that uses blackmail to get everyone to do his work for him until a new employee shows up and she's even more evil than him.  Then you have your honest but midget waitress that is adored by your main male protagonist because he apparently has a thing for small cute things and lastly you have your female waitress that has a phobia of men and punches the crap out them when in sight and unfortunately for our main male protagonist, he has the task of trying to get her to overcome her fears.  The anime is interesting in terms of the characters but that's all there is to it.
