R.E.I. Dividend Deception

When I heard about REI's membership dividends program, I thought it was great because at the end of the year you could get back 10% of what you spent at their store and membership is a one time $20 fee.  Sounds great right?  However, clearance items do not count towards your rebate and they fail to mention that you have a limited amount of time to redeem your rebate.  So imagine the big smile on your face when you rip open the envelope to see the fat rebate coupon only to see that the rebate expires in 2 weeks.  What the hell!  What a nice way to screw your customers!

Useless rebate!
